Privately owned and run, Hempstead House Hotel & Restaurant is a traditional English country house hotel, surrounded by the glorious Kent countryside.

The luxurious en suite rooms areindividually designed, with modern facilities, including high-speed WiFi internet access.

The hotel boasts spacious, elegant reception rooms and 3 bars. The delightful classical restaurant, Lakes, offers award-winning food and professional but friendly service.

The new AquaManda Spa and fitness centre has superb relaxation and leisure facilities, including a sauna, a steam room and a 15-metre swimming pool with hydrotherapy pool. The fitness studio offers a full range of classes and a fully equipped, state-of-the-art gym. The therapy suite offers 5 spacious treatment rooms and a relaxation lounge.

The extensive gardens and terraces make an ideal setting for al fresco aperitifs and dining on summer evenings. In the winter months, guests can enjoy the warmth and comfort of the roaring log fires.

Located on the main A2 road, near the cathedral towns of Canterbury and Rochester and historic Leeds Castle, Hempstead House is also very close to the ports of Dover and Folkestone. The Eurostar terminal is also about 30 minutes’ drive away and London can be reached within an hour by rail.

The hotel day starts from hour 15:00 and ends at 11:00.

Please note full use of spa facilities is available forresidents from 15:00 on the day of check-in until 17:00 on the day of check-out. Deluxe Room. Large, individual rooms with canopied beds, situated in the traditional Victorian Country House. Some can accommodate 1 or 2 children. ;
Executive Room. Large rooms with spacious bathrooms. Situated in the newer part of the hotel or in the traditional Victorian Country House. Some can accommodate 1 or 2 children. ;
Superior Room. Spacious room with views over the gardens and surrounding countryside. Can accommodate 1 or 2 children. This room can accommodate an extra bed. ;
Standard Room. This en suite room is individually designed. ;
Suite. Boasting a private entrance, this suite comes with 1 living room, 1 separate bedroom and 1 bathroom with a walk-in shower and a hairdryer. Guests can make meals in the kitchen that features a refrigerator, a dishwasher, kitchenware and an oven. This wheelchair accessible suite has a tea and coffee maker, a seating area with a flat-screen TV and a shower chair. The unit has 2 beds.
