Artist Residence Cornwall - Penzance

The unique and original rooms at the 17th-century Artist Residence are each uniquely designed in an eclectic, rustic style, with a curated collection of limited edition artworks throughout. Guests have free WiFi.

The bespoke style of each bright and airy bedroom is complemented by amenities including a flat-screen satellite TV, a private bathroom and teacoffee-making facilities. Some rooms feature statement bathtubs and log burners. Rooms are accessed by stairs only.

Downstairs guests can find the Clubhouse, an all-day restaurant, cafe and bar offering a hearty menu of smoked meats, Cornish fish and seafood and local produce in a lively atmosphere.

In the summer, guests are invited to relax in the propertys festival garden, which serves cocktails and food straight from its BBQ smokehouse, and use the ping pong and Foosball tables available.

Just a 5-minute walk from Penzance’s historic seafront, there are a number of restaurants and other galleries within a few hundred metres. Penzance Rail Station is next to the Wharfside Shopping Centre, just 0.5 miles away.

The hotel day starts from hour 15:00 and ends at 11:00.

Small Double Room. Small individually designed rooms with a King bed, en suite bathroom with a shower, a flat-screen TV with Free view channels, free Wi-Fi, Egyptian cotton linen and teacoffee facilities. ;
Double or Twin Room. Individually designed room with work by artists. It includes a king-size bed, or 2 single beds (please specify your preference at the time of booking). There is an en suite bathroom, free Wi-Fi, tea and coffee-making facilities and a flat-screen TV with Free view channels. ;
Double Room. These rooms have a King bed and modern en-suite shower room. Amenitiesfree WiFi, a flat screen TV with Freeview, a Roberts DAB radio and daily housekeeping. Some rooms are dog-friendly and guests should inquire about availability before booking. ;
Luxury Double Room with Bath. The Luxury Double Room features a super king-size bed, individual decor and furnishings, and a bathroom with walk-in rainfall shower and roll-top bath. ;
Comfy Double Room with Bath. The Deluxe Double Room features individual decor and offers a roll-top bath and walk-in rainfall shower. This room is pet friendly. ;
Three-Bedroom Cottage (6 Adults). Cottage features an open plan living room and a kitchenette with statement log burner and a dining area. There is a bathroom with roll-top bath and walk-in rainfall shower. There is a king bedroom, one king or twin bedroom and a bunk room with two single beds. The cottage is pet friendly. ;
Superior Suite with Sea View. The most luxurious room in the property, this suite is a retreat with exposed beams, antique furniture and unique reclaimed pieces perched above the rooftops of Penzance with sea views towards Newlyn and Mousehole. There is a balcony terrace with sea views. It features a super king size bed, separate cosy living space with log burner, a small dining area, statement bathroom with copper free-standing bathtub and separate rainfall shower and a rustic kitchenette fitted withthe essentials. The sofa can beup as an extra bed upon request. ;
Suite. The Suite is a luxurious bolthole with a little extra space for lounging. Featuring a super king-size bed, a comfy lounge with seating area, statement free-standing brass bathtub and floor to ceiling windows with views over Chapel Street, and a separate bathroom with powerful rainfall shower. ;
Suite with Sea View. Perfect for families, the Junior Suite with Sea View is tucked away in the eaves on the third floor, with fabulous views East towards Marazion and St Micheal’s Mount and West towards Newlyn. The main bedroom has a king bed, comfy armchair and pitched ceiling with exposed beams, whilst the snug single bedroom is ideal for little ones. With the addition of a comfy living room and open plan bathroom with roll-top copper bathtub and rainfall shower, this is a luxurious bolthole for your trip to the Cornish seaside. ;
