The Southern Belle - Brighton & Hove

The Southern Belle is a 19th century relaxed luxury boutique hotel and popular public bar with cocktail lounge, offering accommodation adjacent to the Brighton seafront.

The welcoming public bar features an open fireplace, bright window seating with partial sea view or a cosy snug. It offers a varied selection of craft beers, Sussex ales, artisan gins, cocktails, wines, whiskies and hot drinks. There is also a cocktail lounge to the rear of the building. Food is served 7 days a week. A cooked breakfast with lighter options is available for hotel guests.

The i360 Observation Tower is a 7-minute walk from The Southern Belle. Hove or Brighton Rail Station are both just 5 minutes’ drive away from The Southern Belle. Both the spectacular Brighton Royal Pavilion and Brighton Pier are 20 minutes’ walk away.

The hotel day starts from hour 15:00 and ends at 11:00.

Deluxe Double or Twin Room. Spacious first floor room with luxury super-king bed, featuring floor to ceiling bay windows overlooking the church and with partial views to the sea. The room has vintage cocktail chairs, a luxurious en-suite with modern walk-in shower, a large Smart flat screen TV, Nespresso pod machine and other teacoffee making facilities. The bed can be configured in either super king double or 2 large single beds. The standard configuration is double. A 24-hour notice is necessary if the guests choose the twin setup. Please note this room is above the public bar area. Pets can be accommodated in this room. ;
Superior Triple Room. A spacious, modern and beautifully decorated first floor room with luxury king sized bed and single bed. The room has a large Smart flat-screen TV, Nespresso pod machine, teacoffee making facilities and 2 comfortable tub chairs. The room features an en-suite with large shower. Pets can be accommodated in this room. Please note this room is above the public bar area. ;
Deluxe King Room. Luxury room featuring a super king bed with handmade floor to ceiling velvet headboard. The room also boasts a beautiful Victorian-inspired bathroom with Koi Carp wallpaper and a modern walk-in shower. Located to the side of the building, the room has wall to wall blackout curtains Please note that pets cannot be accommodated in this room type. Please note this room is above the cocktail lounge. ;
Superior King Room. A large luxury room with bespoke wooden feature wall and king bed. The room has a large Smart flat-screen TV, Nespresso pod machine, teacoffee making facilities and a small desk area with charge points. The room also boasts a luxurious bathroom with modern walk-in shower. Pets can be accommodated in this room. ;
Deluxe Double Room with Side Sea View. Stunning spacious second floor room with luxury king bed and partial sea view. Featuring relaxing window seat with view overlooking the church and views to the sea. The Ensuite features a double sink, large modern walk in shower with rainfall shower-head and hand held shower. Smart TV, free WiFi, teacoffee making facilities & coffee pod machine. Please note that pets cannot be accommodated in this room type.
